Ramya Shankar

Co-founder

Carnatic- and jazz-trained vocalist, music educator, researcher and certified sound healer, and the founder and director of Mukti Music. Her background in biomedical engineering and early research into music and the brain still shape how she thinks about sound, emotion and connection.

Through two decades of teaching, she kept meeting children who were endlessly connected yet rarely truly heard. Questions We Carry grew from that: a space where children can ask what they quietly carry, and adults resist the urge to hand over easy answers.

Co-founder

A sophomore at Palo Alto High School, saxophonist, music producer and student of Carnatic jazz. He is drawn to music as a creative force that pulls traditions, perspectives and people together.

Curious by nature - biking, sailing, meeting new people - he brings the perspective of a teenager growing up in Silicon Valley, and a genuine interest in what meaningful connection actually looks like for his generation.

Co-founder of Moksha 360, a cross-continental company spanning artist management, live events and ticketing technology.

Working with Ramya and Kash, he brings Moksha 360's expertise to build the world around the album - the platform, the archive, the visual language and the way people everywhere can take part.

His focus is turning a body of songs into a living, global conversation: something communities can join, contribute to and carry forward long after the last track ends.
